They take estimate of Distance away from me With instruments that are Digital and atrophy. I said no funny stuff. Now we can all forget The contradictions I Have long come to expect. You do everything I told you to do.
2.
When you kill their sonar in your sleep, You will find your mouthwash stolen, Fed to birds as part of a TV show. Still, polluted waters run deep Through the time lost in the gutter Where the echoes bounce with increased speed. Born dead already and cold. And to maintain control We must recover the shock. Green talks. Amphetamines walk. When you aim, focus on the water's edge Cause that's where the whale's head will be By the time you catch your breath and fire. Your pink, candescent harpoon Reflects the light of the moon, Which hangs aloof in the sky Dull as a loyal servant's eye. You draw a line in the ocean deep, And your contracts always come back cracked And crooked like the architecture. For want of better words I'll say (Stay away from here) That it's the easiest way.

I'm in control, and it's too much. I'm better off as a servant. I wrote all their names, Folded them into paper cranes. That was a pretty fun night. I'm trying to express myself in acceptable ways, But I'm too lazy. To all my friends, too strange to die: That's a lie, you're a parasite. To those who smirk when acknowledged: Here's a list of jobs I quit. Because I was hit and came back for more, My love is tainted.

Taming brittle play thing. A time to kill. Grating. Alienating. Blood right. Congealed. Stay free. You can't save me cause I don't feel. Tasting upon waking a knife inhaled. Failing. Irritating. Untie your will. Shaking. Vision's breaking. Sunlight. Too real. Separated from the blueprint. Now my choices are all fluid. Hiding under and reclusive. Very lonely. Staying prudent. By and large I sleep beautifully. Shallow gene pool. Species neutered. Human chemistry's winding down. Variation is running out. Inbreeding inevitable. Educated in the ruins. Now their voices are all muted. And I wonder if it's human. Bury water for my students. It's my scars that keep you lucid. Look at how I'm persecuted. You never give me credit for being self aware of my abuse.

Hypebeasts 03:44
In abandoned parking lot I play tennis with my friend. Hope the net stays left alone. But you know how these people are-- opportunists. A truth has lost value. Mosaic on the dashboard. Watch the rain drop's shadow bend. It reminds me of your voice When you laughed at me with them. And they don't want me to get well. They don't want me to think. Sitting in this freezing car. In the trunk the net is torn. It can no longer decide Who wins, who loses. Their violent tendencies are validating. And they don't want me to get well. They don't want me to think. All alone and I'm free.

Take me out to sing the same song. Everyone knows everybody but me. I make no progress. Take no solace. Break your promise. Racial violence. Everyone knows everybody but me.

This call and response is active. Become a part of the scene. This call and response has actually Become apart at the seams. Erase my time Chasing yours. Slamming doors of perception. And I can't get you to open yours. This call and response was passive, But I can't pay her now. She's bent over the sink. This call and response is active. I can't spay her now. She's glistening. It's possible to empathize, Impossible with me. I better be almost inaudible And make you pay to see That all those bags of bones Won't get you nowhere but alone. All those broken roads Won't take you nowhere but alone. All those sun bleached bones Won't get you nowhere but alone. And this time it's really fake. This call and response is active, The coughing up of flem. This call and response has actually Left my mouth bitter, And you look like you taste it too. This call and response is active. Become a part of the scene. This call and response has actually Become repulsive. Become repulsed. This call and response has actually Become upholstery. Become a lame play on words.

Come Down 02:16
You met me in the come down. That's where I stay. You told me that the come down Was much easier with me. You left me on the come up. Temporary. Everything is breaking. I don't gotta take it. Everything I wanted wanted me in its pocket. Couldn't stop it. Couldn't wait until tomorrow went away. We'll reconvene in the come down. No one stays gone for too long. When we lock eyes in the come down, You will smile. I will cringe.
9.
Underweight 02:02
You dragged your feet by the gate when you departed. Now the moss grows there. It's too thick to ever be cleared. I cannot wait another day to see you suffer. Am I heavy enough to see you underweight? Turning the tables is never fair unless they keep turning. Then there's the danger of Russian roulette. I cannot wait another day to put you under. I cannot breathe enough to see you suffocate.

Art work by Ronna Sandoval

In addition to the people already credited, this album could not have been completed without the help of Amelia Sloan, Vickie Duong, Aisha Malek, Roy Brenc, Seth Lee, Jaciel Beltre, or Eric Bonney. All of you helped make the live shows happen, lent your ears to the mixing process, and sat in on early developments of the recordings. This album belongs to you as much as it does anybody else.

This album is dedicated to the memory of Alexander Michael Boston (1985 - 2017). Co-creator of U.S. Nero, never-enough-appreciated collaborator, and all around under-understood individual.
